Maybe it a San Diego tour stop thing, but every year Golf Joggers seem to pop up at Torrey Pines. Recall Sam Ryder in Joggers setting social media a blaze in his golf joggers at The Farmers Insurance Open in 2023? This year, we’re extra excited to see one of the best, Rory McIlroy, embracing golf joggers at the re-located Genesis Invitational.

Social media again went into a frenzy after a Nuclr Golf’s post asked “Are you digging the look?”. Reviews, as always, were a mixed bag with the majority of commenters leaning towards a good look on Rory. And we’d certainly agree with the masses. Rory’s step into a more modern look is refreshing – especially at a time where golf is evolving at an unprecedented rate with younger generations who demand on course fashion and style. Simply put – its good for the game. And regardless of the opinion, the back and forth banter between the keyboard warriors is always an entertaining read.

Rory came out firing on all cylinders on Friday shooting a 67 and vaulting up the leaderboard. Dare we say the Golf Joggers elevated not just his style, but also his game? Not so fast… Continuing with the Jogger momentum, Rory showed up on Saturday, again in a Joggers, only to fire a 74. Will we see Rory back in golf joggers on Sunday?

Its no surprise McIlroy’s golf joggers from Nike’s. Part of their 2025 golf collection, the Nike Tour Repel Golf Jogger Pants are cut from a polyester / spandex blend with 4 way stretch and a relaxed fit. These 4 pocket golf joggers also feature belt loops, inner ankle zippers, tapered cut from knee to ankle and a large 2.5 inch jogger cuff. Nike’s Tour Repel Golf Jogger Pants retail for $110 USD, are available in 7 colors, and offered in 6 waist sizes from 30 – 40W (it does not appear Nike offers their joggers in different inseam length options (read: Choosing the correct Golf Jogger Length).

Golf Joggers in 2025: They’re Here to Stay
